ASTRO-OUTLOOK: MAY 2012
May begins with a day that’s traditionally associated with celebrating fertility. Appropriately, interest in -- or focus on -- connecting with each other continues all month long. The sky is directing attention to relationships and values -- what we think and believe about them, how we get along, who’s in our life, and what we’d really like.
Two big events are behind this. Venus, the goddess of all things dear to our hearts, goes retrograde mid-month (May 15-June 27). She’ll summon themes and people from the past for a second look and/or resolution. The solar eclipse on May 20, at the very first degree of Gemini, supercharges communication issues (including how we do it and the technology we use). Doors will slam. People and situations will leave. New ones will enter. It won’t be dull. Stay alert!
